The heavy-hitting tech-house and techno label BlueCube is back to present its fifth release, continuing to showcase some of the freshest upcoming names on the underground circuit. This time they dig deep into the heart of New York to find a name that has been circling around not only the US but the global community as well.
Antonio Piacquadios’ mark on BlueCube is another delightful leap for this up-and-coming producer. As head of the Inmotion imprint, Antonio has also released on killer tech imprints such as Monique Musique and Definitive Recordings. With two varying mixes by B-Quartz and Nuria Ghia, the full package of Uuuhhh is one that appeals to a wide group of listeners.
A pumping dose of bass and drum rhythms, Uuuhhh is built for the dance floor. Heavy swinging bass and perky hand drums serenade to an answering vocal sample. Expect epic delays and tasteful breaks throughout the Original Mix. Laying down a deeper vibe, B-Quartz takes Uuuhhh to more of a house sound, as warm chords and fluttering effects give way to a lazy groove. Deep and analogue sounds make for a more chilled-out atmosphere in B-Quartz’s mix. Taking things into the after-hours room filled with utter mayhem, Nuria Ghia’s mix packs a sinister punch of contagious dark energy. One for the late-night movers and shakers, Nuria’s mix places Uuuhhh in a soulless den of dark rhythms.
