Even though she made her formal debut as a producer relatively recently, Nuria Ghia is already unstoppable in the recording studio. With more than a reference or remix to her name every month, Nuria’s summer season was an impetuous musical moment.
Creatively infusing rhythmic congo patterns with deep-rolling basslines throughout the production, ‘Sweet Pillow’ offers listeners insight into Ghia’s moulding influences that are so prevalent in her unique sound. Here, Nuria presents the listener with a much more up-tempo tune: ‘Very Nice Job’ is an intoxicating bass-fuelled production that is perfectly suited for the climax hours of a headline set. Felipe Venegas has remixed “Sweet Pillow”, giving a delicious touch to the EP.
