From Tapas, we welcome one of the most promising DJs from the Spanish national scene. He’s one of those restless boys that started playing at a very young age and today spends 100 per cent of his time tied to music.
Shaktak is a track that manages to move listeners with only a few elements. Strategically located, the percussion feeds the groove until we hear the voices of a soulful choir. It has a low shattering sound that will test the larger cones on speakers, but ultimately, Shaktak is elegant and effective.
For the remixes, the label from Cologne has chosen three producers (actually five) to complete the release: Nino Santos & Lightem, Bolumar & Kiko Martinez, and to further strengthen the pack, the most important DJ from Barcelona, Nuria Ghia, offers a serious remix composed mainly from a rich loop with many elements that come and go, and that could be used for both a deep-house or a tech-house session.
