Nuria Ghia debuts as a music producer with Melba EP. During its 10 years in business, the label has racked up residencies, performances and great success in theatres and festivals such as Tresor, Shed, Klubbers Days, Club4 or BeCool. Continuing her natural evolution as an artist, Nuria will also publish on the Germanos as Music and Young Bondage Society labels in the coming months.
From Nuria’s intellect emerges her first music release: Melba EP. “Melba”, a song with soul born out of techno and a harmonious atmosphere. The track effectively combines a strong base nourished with rhythmic lines to draw the incessant pounding beats, while surrounding effects filter and play with the groove.
In “Ocean”, the bass takes the lead from the first chord on a track of certain eclecticism, where the sound plays with the keyboard’s funk influences without ever ignoring the asymmetric romp percussion. An evolving theme with avant-garde dyes, the vocal murmurs give this tune a real club sound.
The remixes included on the EP are perfectly made by Bolumar and Kiko Martinez (Melba) and Silentalk (Ocean). This is a complete EP and represents a perfect foray into Nuria’s abilities and skills as a music producer.
